Update your income details
You will qualify for our HSBC Premier status if you have an individual or joint HSBC New Zealand account with a combined gross annual income of at least NZD125,000, but you may need to update your details with us.
We don't need your salary or income to be credited to your HSBC account, and it could include rental income, but we will require evidence dated within the last three months. For example:
- A copy of your latest payslip, clearly showing your annual income; or
- A copy of your bank statement(s), showing at least three income payments.
Please attach a copy of your evidence, as a PDF or image to the below email. This information cannot be sent via our internet banking SecureMessage, as we cannot attach files to these at this time.
We record income against individuals, so please copy the below template (copying as many individuals as you require) into an email and send to HSBC Premier Services NZ
If you have more than one Joint account to update – please copy the details again.
If you are updating a Joint account via email, please do ensure to CC in the other parties to the Joint account, so we know that they are across the updates. You will need to attach their evidence as well.

Update your Overseas Premier status with HSBC New Zealand
If you are an HSBC Jade or Premier customer in another country, we might not know about this. Drop us a SecureMessage via HSBC Internet Banking with the details below.
We'll check your status against our HSBC Global Customer Direct and confirm back to you whether we have updated your records with us.

Update your HSBC New Zealand account(s) Total Relationship
When we consider your HSBC Premier status, we take into account your home loans or savings held with any of your connected accounts. We call this your Total Relationship.
We will automatically connect any individual accounts to joint accounts – but we might need to be updated with any connections you should have to any non-personal accounts, such as your Family Trust or Private Investment Company account held with HSBC New Zealand.
To update these records held with us, please send a SecureMessage via HSBC Internet Banking with the completed details below. If you have more than one non-personal account to update the connections of, please copy the details and repeat.
If there are more than two individuals to connect to the non-personal account, again, please add as many lines as you require.
