We want to make sure that all our customers have the most secure Online Banking experience possible. As such, we’re in the process of removing our Online Banking support for a range of older, less secure, internet browsers.
This means that if you’re using an internet browser that hasn’t been updated since at least 2016, you’ll no longer be able to access Online Banking or the HSBC Website. This is because newer internet browsers are updated regularly and have enhanced features and tools that help protect customers from a wide variety of security threats.
The following list shows the earliest version of internet browsers that will remain compatible - all versions released afterwards are also compatible.
