Please note the Personal Financial Banking Terms and Conditions have been updated and are effective 1 December 2005. For existing HSBC customers as at 1 December 2005, these terms and conditions do not become effective until 19 December 2005.

HSBC's retail banking department is changing its name from Personal Financial Services (PFS) to Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM). To reflect this change, all current references in our documentation to PFS will be replaced with references to RBWM. During the transitional period, please note that any reference to RBWM includes documentation issued under the PFS name (and vice versa).
