What can I do?

Whenever you want, from anywhere in New Zealand (toll free) or from overseas simply by using a touch tone phone and ringing 09 918 8350. This service operates via a voice prompt with instructions in English, Cantonese or Mandarin.


  • Check account balances & recent transactions
  • Check the latest exchange rates on certain currencies
  • Check the latest term deposit rates for New Zealand Dollar term deposits
  • Set up or renew your term deposits
  • Request for the latest exchange rates and term deposit rates to be faxed to you
  • Transfer funds between your HSBC accounts (with the exception of non transactional loan accounts or term deposits)
  • Pay bills* (make third party payments)
