Cheques cleared earlier at HSBC
We wish to advise customers that from 1 April 2006, HSBC will be reducing the time it takes to clear
In most cases, any cheques issued by banks in New Zealand will now be cleared by HSBC in three business days instead of five business days. This means you will usually have access to the deposited funds three business days after you deposit the cheque at an HSBC or Westpac branch.
