HSBC Cards

With your HSBC Card, you can enjoy the convenience and safety of cash-free shopping at thousands of establishments throughout New Zealand with EFTPOS terminals. Many merchants will also allow you to withdraw cash when using EFTPOS to purchase goods and services. In New Zealand, you can use your HSBC card to access your money whenever you want fee free at any Westpac or HSBC ATMs nation-wide.

What can I do?

You can make balance enquiries and cash withdrawals of up NZD 3,000 a day at any Westpac ATM. In addition, you can access the following banking services quickly and conveniently through HSBC branch ATMs (Auckland only):

Make cash withdrawals of up to NZD 3,000 a day
Make deposits
Transfer funds between your HSBC accounts
Check account balances

HSBC is linked to the largest proprietary ATM network in the world. If you are travelling, you will find an HSBC ATM in most parts of the world. You can access your account at over 300,000 HSBC ATMs world-wide, any time of the day or night or through the VISA / PLUS network at over 627,000 terminals world-wide.

Lost Cards

If your HSBC Card is lost or stolen, please inform us immediately either by reporting this to your nearest HSBC branch or by calling our 24 hour Lost Card Hotline on 0800 80 23 80.

Please also confirm the loss of your HSBC Card in writing to us within 7 days by completing our ATM Card/PIN Notification Form and mail it back to us or drop it in to one of our branches.
