Global Markets

HSBC's Global Markets business is one of the largest in the world, backed by an international network of 87 dealing rooms in over 60 countries.

The Global Markets business in New Zealand provides independent and innovative treasury and capital markets services. The New Zealand dealing room offers comprehensive foreign exchange, money market, fixed income and interest rate and foreign exchange derivatives trading in the New Zealand dollar, all major currencies and Asian currencies.

We also have access to one of the largest economic research capabilities of any Financial Services organisation.

HSBCnet provides a single point of entry to the online solutions available to our markets clients including award-winning research, plus a range of treasury and capital markets products and services, presented in a format that can be personalised to meet the individual needs of our customers.

Interested in trading online? fxtrading@hsbc is the first in a range of online trade execution services offered by HSBC's Global Markets division. It provides 24-hour coverage in more than 60 currencies for foreign exchange. The aim is to make trade execution as convenient as possible with one-click on line execution and instant back office confirmation.

Money Market

We accept deposits in a range of currencies for terms of up to two years. Money market business is a conduit for personal and corporate deposits in New Zealand dollars and all major currencies. Our money market desk also provides short term loans in local and international currencies.

The HSBC research team produce a wide range of timely, in-depth economic and market reports. Through HSBCnet we can provide clients with specialist economic and currency reports on a weekly monthly and quarterly basis including the latest economic estimates and forecasts across the globe.
